We had the best time hosting all of you beautiful runners at our Versus Socks Run Party on 21 May! Here are some of the highlights…

It was a fresh four degrees Celsius when registration opened on the morning of 21 May in Franschhoek. Participants dressed in jackets, buffs and beanies collected their race numbers, chose their socks and got themselves ready for the day ahead, which offered truly beautiful running conditions.

We had three running distances, which all, let’s be honest, ran a little long! But we knew you had it in you! And the views were so worth it! Just watch the official video, here, to get a taste of the vibe.

We had nearly 1000 entrants – 75 in the 25km, 423 in the 13km and 442 in the 7km events. Check out the official photographs on our facebook page and tag your friends!

“What a VIBE the Versus Socks Run Party was! Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun. I’m super proud of the team for pulling this off in two months,” says Hanno Lategan, co-owner of Versus Socks.

A big thank you once again to our sponsors, Asics and Garmin who helped us make this event possible and to Hey Joe Brewing Co. for hosting us at their venue.
