Social Media Manager

We have an exciting full-time position available at Versus Socks. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our young, dynamic and active team. This role would suit someone who is knowledgeable in the field, driven, organised and enjoys a healthy lifestyle.

Summary 
As the Social Media Manager, you will be required to create as much excitement as possible around the Versus Socks brand, through our social media pages.

What your role would be
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Posting and scheduling content on our social media platforms
• Ensuring our social media posts are always unique, high quality and engaging
• Creating content that is on-brand and super exciting
• Growing our social media platforms
• Brand marketing on social media platforms
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
• Assist with influencer campaigns
• Reporting on social media activities
• Assisting with brand activations
• Graphic design for social media
• Interacting and engaging with followers on comments, tags and DM’s. Ensuring they have the best brand experience possible
• Interacting and engaging with clients via email and telephonic conversations

What experience and skills you need for the role
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a social media/content creation position
• Photography, videography, video- and photo editing skills
• Basic graphic design skills for stories/posts
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin
• TikTok knowledge will be highly beneficial
• Facebook Ad Knowledge will be highly beneficial
• Google Ad Knowledge will be highly beneficial
• Be a good team player
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• An interest in sport will be advantageous

Work Environment
📍 Versus Socks Head Office, Techno Park, Stellenbosch
🕒 Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Pay and Benefits
We pay competitive, market-related salaries based on skills and experience. Your salary is based on a “Total Cost To Company” model
