What is the Versus Grand Prix 10km Run?

The Versus Grand Prix 10km is a unique road running event held at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. Runners will complete two laps of the world-famous circuit, covering 10km on the same tarmac where motorsport history has been made.

Will there be start batches?

Yes. To ensure a smooth and safe start, runners will be divided into batches based on their seeding and expected finish time. Batch allocations will be communicated closer to race day.

How long is the route?

The route is 10km in total. One lap of the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is approximately 5km, and runners will complete two laps.

Will more distances be made available?

No. The event will only offer a 10km distance.

What is the cut-off time?

The official cut-off time is 2 hours from the start of the race.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?

Yes. A substitution window will be made available before race day. Running with another athlete's race number without completing the official substitution process is not permitted.

Are entries refundable?

No. Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. You can, however, substitute your entry if you can no longer attend.

What is the minimum age to enter?

Participants must be 13 years or older on race day.

Do all finishers receive a medal?

Yes. Every official finisher will receive a limited-edition Versus Grand Prix Finisher's Medal.

When and where can I collect my race pack?

Race pack collection details will be announced closer to the event.

What do I need to bring to collect?

Please bring your entry confirmation or race number. If someone is collecting on your behalf, they will need a copy of your confirmation or race number.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving between 45 and 60 minutes before the start to allow enough time for parking, warm-up, and finding your start batch.

Are there water points along the route?

Yes. There will be two fully stocked water points available on the route.

Can I run with earphones?

No. Earphones and headphones are not permitted for safety reasons.

Are strollers, pets, or wheelchairs allowed?

No. For safety reasons, pets, prams, rollerblades, bicycles and other mechanical devices are not permitted on the route.

Athletes requiring special assistance, including guide runners or wheelchair pushers, should contact the organisers before entering.
