1. Promoter

1.1 The promoter of this competition is Versus Socks (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”), a private company registered in South Africa.

2. Competition Overview

2.1 The Versus Socks Mauritius Competition (“the Competition”) will run from 8 April 2026 to 12 April 2026 (“the Competition Period”).

2.2 The Competition is open exclusively to entrants of the 2026 Two Oceans Marathon.Participants will receive official Versus Socks in their Two Oceans Marathon goodie bag. A QR code will be printed on the sock packaging, which must be used to enter the Competition.

2.3 To enter, participants must scan the QR code on the sock packaging and complete the official entry form.

2.4 No participant will be automatically entered into the Competition. Entry is only valid once the QR code has been scanned and the entry form has been successfully completed and submitted.

2.5 By submitting the entry form, participants agree to be added to the Versus Socks email database and consent to receive marketing communications from Versus Socks. Participants may unsubscribe at any time.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To enter the Competition, participants must:

• Locate the official Versus Socks received in their Two Oceans Marathon goodie bag;
• Scan the QR code on the sock packaging; and
• Complete and submit the entry form in full.

3.2 Only one entry per participant will be permitted unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Entries close on 12 April 2026 at 23:59 (SAST).

4. Eligibility

4.1 The Competition is open to:

• South African residents aged 18 years or older; and
• Verified entrants of the 2026 Two Oceans Marathon.

4.2 Employees, agents, and immediate family members of Versus Socks (Pty) Ltd, and any associated partners, agencies, or suppliers are not eligible to enter.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and may request:

• Proof of 2026 Two Oceans Marathon entry;
• Valid identification (ID or passport).

5. Prize Details

5.1 The winner will receive a 7-night, all-inclusive holiday for two (2) people to Mauritius, including:

• Return economy-class flights for two from either Cape Town International Airport or O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Mauritius;
• Airport transfers in Mauritius;
• Seven (7) nights’ accommodation at a 3-star resort;
• All meals, drinks, and selected resort activities (as per the resort’s all-inclusive offering).

5.2 The total prize value is capped at R55,000 (fifty-five thousand rand). Any costs exceeding this amount will be for the winner’s own account.

5.3 If the winner resides outside of Cape Town or Johannesburg, transport to and from the departure airport will be at the winner’s own cost.

5.4 The prize excludes:

• Travel insurance;
• Travel to and from departure airports;
• Passport costs;
• Personal expenses, spending money, medical costs, and any items not expressly included.

5.5 The trip:

• Must be taken during off-season only; and
• Must be completed before 30 April 2027.

5.6 The Promoter reserves the right to determine travel dates, airline, and resort in consultation with a registered travel provider.

5.7 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1 The winner will be randomly drawn by an independent auditor from all valid entries.

6.2 The winner will be announced on 13 April 2026 via email and official Versus Socks social media platforms.

6.3 The winner will be contacted directly via email.

6.4 If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within five (5) working days, an alternate winner will be selected.

6.5 Before the prize is awarded, the Promoter may require:

• Valid identification; and
• Proof of entry into the 2026 Two Oceans Marathon.

6.6 Once verified, the winner’s details will be shared with a designated travel agency to facilitate booking.

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Entry data will be processed and securely stored by the Promoter and its authorised service providers.

7.2 By entering the Competition, participants consent to receiving marketing communications from Versus Socks and being added to the Promoter’s email database. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

7.3 Personal data will only be retained for the duration of the Competition and prize fulfilment, after which it will be deleted or anonymised.

7.4 The Promoter will not sell or distribute personal data to third parties, except where necessary for Competition administration and prize fulfilment.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Participants enter the Competition at their own risk.

8.2 The Promoter is not liable for:

• Technical or system failures;
• Delays, cancellations, or changes to travel arrangements;
• Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation or use of the prize.

8.3 The Promoter strongly recommends that the winner obtains comprehensive travel insurance.

8.4 In circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of similar value or adjust arrangements.

9. Right to Amend, Suspend, or Cancel

9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition or these Terms and Conditions if reasonably required.

9.2 Any updates will be communicated via official Versus Socks channels.

10. General

10.1 All decisions by the Promoter are final and binding.

10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.

10.3 Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

10.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
