1. Promoter and Partners

1.1 The promoter of this competition is Versus Socks (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”), a private company registered in South Africa.

1.2 Sportsmans Warehouse (“the Partner”) is the exclusive retail partner for this competition.

1.3 The Partner is not responsible for the administration of the competition or the awarding of prizes.

2. Competition Overview

2.1 The Versus Socks × Sportsmans Warehouse Mauritius Competition (“the Competition”) will run from 1 November 2025 to 1 January 2026 (“the Competition Period”).

2.2 Customers who purchase any pair of Versus Socks at participating Sportsmans Warehouse stores during the Competition Period and submit their till slip via WhatsApp will stand a chance to win a 7-night, all-inclusive holiday for two to Mauritius.

2.3 No customer will be automatically entered into the Competition by purchasing Versus Socks, entry is only valid once the till slip has been submitted via WhatsApp.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To enter the Competition, participants must:

• Purchase any pair of Versus Socks (Socks Only) from a Sportsmans Warehouse store in South Africa during the Competition Period; and
• Send a clear photo of their till slip via WhatsApp to the official Versus Socks Competition number: 060 020 2786.

3.2 The AI-powered WhatsApp system will automatically validate:

• The store name and location,
• The date of purchase, and
• The number of Versus Socks pairs purchased.

3.3 Each qualifying pair of Versus Socks purchased counts as one (1) entry.

3.4 Participants may submit multiple till slips during the Competition Period. Only Versus Socks purchases qualify, other sock brands and products are excluded.

3.5 The WhatsApp system will confirm successful entry automatically once validation is complete.

3.6 Entries close on 31 January 2026 at 23:59 (SAST). Entries received after this time will not be considered.

4. Eligibility

4.1 The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older only.

4.2 Employees, agents, and immediate family members of Versus Socks (Pty) Ltd, Sportsmans Warehouse, and any associated partners, agencies, or suppliers are not eligible to enter.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may request proof of age, identity, and purchase before awarding the prize.

5. Prize Details

5.1 The winner will receive a 7-night, all-inclusive holiday for two (2) people to Mauritius, including:

• Return economy-class flights for two from either Cape Town International Airport or O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Mauritius;
  
• Airport transfers in Mauritius;
  
• Seven (7) nights’ accommodation at a 3-star (or higher) resort;
  
• All meals, drinks, and selected resort activities (as part of the resort’s all-inclusive offering).
  

5.2 If the winner resides outside of Cape Town or Johannesburg, transport to and from either departure airport will be at the winner’s own cost.

5.3 The prize excludes:

• Travel insurance,
  
• Travel costs to and from Cape Town or Johannesburg airports,
  
• Passport costs,
  
• Personal expenses, spending money, any medical costs, and any items not expressly included in the all-inclusive package.
  

5.4 The trip must be taken before 31 December 2026.

5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to determine the specific travel dates, airline, and resort in consultation with a registered travel agency.

5.6 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1 The winner will be randomly drawn by an independent auditor using the validated entry database.

6.2 The draw will take place in February 2026, and the winner will be announced before 28 February 2026.

6.3 The winner will be contacted directly via WhatsApp or phone call using the number provided upon entry.

6.4 Should the Promoter be unable to reach the winner within five (5) working days, an alternate winner will be drawn.

6.5 Prior to awarding the prize, the Promoter may request:

A valid South African ID or passport; and

The original till slip for verification purposes (if necessary).

6.6 Once verified, the winner’s contact details will be shared with the designated travel agency, who will assist in booking and finalising travel arrangements.

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Entry data (including till slips and contact numbers) will be processed and stored securely by the Promoter and its approved service providers.

7.2 No marketing communication will be sent to entrants unless they have provided separate, explicit consent elsewhere.

7.3 Personal data collected for the purposes of this Competition will be retained only for the duration of the competition and prize fulfilment, and thereafter deleted or anonymised.

7.4 The Promoter will not sell, share, or distribute personal data to any third parties except as required for the administration of the Competition and prize fulfilment.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 By entering, all participants agree that they enter the Competition at their own risk.

8.2 The Promoter and its partners will not be liable for:

• Any technical or system failures during entry;
  
• Any delay, cancellation, or alteration of travel arrangements;
  
• Any injury, loss, or damage arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Competition or use of the prize;
  
• Any injury, death, illness, loss, or damage before, during, or after the vacation.
  

8.3 The Promoter strongly recommends that the winner obtains comprehensive travel insurance before departure.

8.4 In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control (including, but not limited to, flight cancellations, natural disasters, pandemics, or resort unavailability), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of similar value or amend the travel arrangements.

9. Right to Amend, Suspend, or Cancel

9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, provided such action is reasonable and does not materially disadvantage participants.

9.2 Any changes will be communicated via the official Versus Socks website or social media pages.

10. General

10.1 All decisions by the Promoter and its auditors are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

10.3 Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

10.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
